Xanthophyll (Feed grade lutein powder Marigold Extract)
Feed grade lutein powder is a kind of pure natural feed additive, which is made of lutein resin extracted from marigold, saponified and mixed with carrier. The main components are lutein and zeaxanthin.
Characteristics: orange to orange red powder, good fluidity, special smell of marigold. In order to disperse in water, vegetable oil, n-hexane.
Uses: mainly used as feed additive, for coloring the skin, fat, shank and yolk of broiler. It is also used for coloring rainbow trout, shrimp and other aquatic products.
Usage: premix before other feed to be mixed, recommended dosage: daily feeding period, take 2% feed grade lutein powder as an example, add 0.5-2kg per ton of feed as required. It is generally set at 2kg, and can be adjusted to 3-3.5kg in summer. When added to the feed, the dosage is 0.5-1kg for broiler chickens, 2-3kg for breeding chickens, 0.5-2.5kg for laying hens, and 3-8kg for yellow croaker, shrimp and other aquatic products. Or add according to the user's own matching needs.
Storage method: airtight storage in a cool, dry place. The shelf life is 12 months.
Attention: in high temperature season, the content of lutein is nearly half lost, and high temperature also easily causes the oxidation of lutein and oil, resulting in the decrease of available lutein in feed. Especially in summer, when preparing broiler feed, the nutrient concentration of feed should be increased while increasing the amount of lutein.
Packaging: 1kg, 25kg aluminum foil bag, or according to customer needs.
Storage and shelf life: sealed and dark, stored in a cool, dry place, shelf life of 18 months.
