Insoluble polyviny is white or similar to white, hygroscopic, easy to flow powder, slightly odorous, insoluble in water and general solvents. Direct synthesis by chemical method.

Application
Stabilizer and clarifier
It has not been listed in the national standard. PVPP can be used as stabilizer and clarifier of beer, fruit wine and fruit juice in brewing and beverage industry. PVPP can be complexed with phenolic compounds in plants through hydrogen bonding to form water-insoluble substances and removed by filtration, so it is used for the separation and stabilization of enzymes.
It is used in agriculture to determine the content of anthocyanins in grapes and anthocyanins in other plants. Used in chromatography (column chromatography and thin layer chromatography), it is a solid phase with good separation performance.
