Application

Antioxidant

As a food antioxidant, dibutyl hydroxytoluene can be used in basically water-free fats and oils, with a maximum of 0.2g/kg; The maximum dosage in gum-based candy is 0.4g/kg. Dibutylhydroxytoluene can be used in fat, oil and emulsified fat products, cooked nuts, and seeds (fried nuts and seeds only), canned nuts and seeds, fried flour products, dried vegetables (dehydrated potato powder only), ready to eat cereals, including rolled oats (slices), instant rice flour products, biscuits, pickled Bacon products (such as bacon, bacon, salted duck, Chinese ham and sausage), air drying The maximum dosage of dried and pressed aquatic products and puffed food is 0.2g/kg.

Like butyl hydroxyanisole, dibutyl hydroxytoluene can be used in edible oil, fried food, dried fish products, biscuits, instant noodles, quick boiled rice, canned nuts, cured meat products, and breakfast cereals. Dibutyl hydroxytoluene can be used as a fat-soluble antioxidant for other purposes. For example, the dosage in animal oil is 0.001% ~ 0.01%; Vegetable oil, 0.002% ~ 0.02%; Baked food, 0.01% ~ 0.04%; Cereal food, 0.005% ~ 0.02%; Dehydrated soybean milk, 0.001%; Essence oil, 0.01% ~ 0.1%; Food packaging materials, 0.02% ~ 0.1%.
