Other name: Hydrogenated ester gum
Glycerol ester of hydrogenated rosin is light yellow to amber transparent glass, slightly rosin smell and crisp. Soluble in vegetable oil, orange oil, aromatic compounds, hydrocarbons, terpenes, esters and ketones and other organic solvents, insoluble in water and ethanol. Refined hydrogenated rosin is esterified with edible glycerol by heating in the presence of catalyst. After the reaction, the product is obtained by special treatment and refining.

It is used for bubble gum, chewing gum, sugar free chewing gum, etc. as chewing material, it has good taste, oxidation resistance, and keeps soft. It can also be used as emulsifier in beverages. Gum sugar made of hydrogenated rosin glyceride has the same taste after long-term storage for two years, and can still remain soft and delicate.
