Physical and chemical properties

White, odorless, slightly phenol-smelling solid. Melting point 138℃, boiling point 160℃. It is easily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, and benzene, and slightly soluble in water (0.54g/100ml, 20℃). The aqueous solution is acidic and decomposes under ultraviolet irradiation.

① LD50: rat acute oral 370 mg / kg (BW).

② ADI:0.3 mg/kg(bw)(JMPR,1980).

③ GRAS:FDA-21CFR 172.140.
