Physical and chemical properties
This product is colorless crystal or liquid, similar to the Geranium smell, melting point 27 ℃, boiling point 259 ℃. Insoluble in water, inorganic acid, and alkali solution, soluble in ethanol and ether, relative density (water = 1) 1.07 ~ 1.08; The relative density (air = 1) is 1.0 and stable. It is mainly used as a heat transfer medium and perfume or soap.

Application
As a food preservative, diphenyl oxide can be used in surface-treated fresh fruits (Citrus only), with a maximum use limit of 3.0g/kg (residue ≤ 12 mg/kg)
