This product is a white or almost white powder.
Pharmacological Action
Amoxicillin is a β-lactam antibiotic with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. Its antibacterial spectrum and potency are essentially identical to those of ampicillin. It is slightly less active than penicillin against most Gram-positive bacteria and is susceptible to penicillinase, rendering it ineffective against penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It exhibits strong activity against Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus spp., Salmonella spp., Haemophilus spp., Brucella spp., and Pasteurella spp., although these organisms readily develop resistance. It is not active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Due to its better absorption than ampicillin in monogastric animals, resulting in higher blood concentrations, it demonstrates superior efficacy in treating systemic infections. It is indicated for systemic infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues caused by susceptible organisms.
Amoxicillin is relatively stable in gastric acid, with 74% to 92% absorbed following oral administration in monogastric animals.

Dosage and Administration
Administration and Dosage (Based on this product): For drinking water administration in chickens: 0.5g per 1L of water. Administer twice daily for 3 to 7 consecutive days.
Adverse Reactions
Adverse Reactions: No adverse reactions have been observed when used at the recommended dosage and administration.
Precautions
(1) Do not use in laying hens during the egg-laying period.
(2) The aqueous solution is unstable and should be prepared immediately before use.
Withdrawal Period
Withdrawal period: 7 days for chickens.
