Physical and chemical properties
Light yellow to amber viscous liquid, which gradually turns dark brown after long-term storage in light and air, but does not affect its antioxidant effect. It has a boiling point of 134 ~ 136 ℃ (13.33pa), a refractive index of 1.569 ~ 1.672, and a relative density of 1.029 ~ 1.031. It is insoluble in water and can be freely miscible with ethanol.
Toxicological basis
① LD50: acute oral 1680 ~ 1800mg / kg in rats （bw）； Acute oral administration of 1470 mg / kg (BW) in mice.

Application
As a food preservative, ethoxyquine can be used for the preservation of fresh fruits with surface treatment and can be used in an appropriate amount according to production needs (residue ≤ 1 mg/kg)
